Miracles for Satos Rescue was founded in 2021 to help with the desperate situation of abandoned, injured, and neglected dogs (and sometimes cats) of Puerto Rico. On June 11th my husband and I adopted the newest members to our family, Vela and Diego from this amazing organization!

I’m deeply committed to dog adoption and giving rescue dogs the loving homes they deserve. Nothing makes me happier than helping them find their happily ever after.

Satos are mixed-breed dogs from Puerto Rico, many of which are rescued from the streets. They are especially known for:

❤️ Loyal and affectionate personalities – They often form strong bonds with their families.

🧠 Intelligence and adaptability – Having survived difficult circumstances, many are quick learners and adjust well to new homes.

🐕 Unique appearances – Since they are mixed breeds, no two Satos look exactly alike.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Good family companions – Many are gentle and do well with children and other pets when properly socialized.

🏃 Moderate energy levels – They enjoy walks, playtime, and cuddling on the couch.

💪 Resilience – Their backgrounds often make them remarkably resourceful and appreciative of a loving home.

Because they come from such diverse backgrounds, individual personalities vary, but Sato adopters frequently describe them as loving, grateful, goofy, and incredibly devoted companions. Many people who adopt one Sato eventually adopt another! 🐾
