Queen of Hearts, est. 2006 by Karen Beebe is a fashion boutique featuring cool, covetable jewelry, amazingly adorable dresses, and unique accessories. Located in the heart of the arts district in downtown Providence, RI.

We have a little sister! Her name is Modern Love, est. 2010. She’s a sleek, modern lifestyle store with a gorgeous selection of costume jewelry and accessories for you and your home. Carrying lines such as Herschel, Brixton, Fjallraven, Paddywax, Crow Canyon Home, Mosser Glass and much more. 

Modern Love carries a huge selection of gourmet specialty foods from sauces, condiments, tinned fish and our selection continues to grow.  Check out our Pantry section online. 

Not only do we pride ourselves on our top-notch customer service but, we also provide complimentary gift wrapping for all your gifts and treasures.

We are also a dog-friendly shopping destination, year-round! We love dogs and are staff are joyed when they visit with us.

CAPTAIN- Karen L Beebe

Karen Beebe is the lead buyer, curator, and creative force behind Queen of Hearts + Modern Love. She’s equally passionate about the artistic side of running a business as she is about the strategy and analytics behind it. When she’s not at the shops, you’ll likely find her taking beach walks with her dog, tending to her garden, or out on the water surfing and sailing. Karen also owns and operates her sailing charter business, Sailing Rocksteady, where she shares her love of the ocean and adventure with guests on the water. And with all that fresh garden harvest? Karen’s love of cooking is always close behind.

FIRST MATE - Jamie Smith

Jamie is our Shop Manager and Assistant Buyer for both sister shops.
