These groovy seed packets are a collaboration between Milwaukee-based folk singer Trapper Schoepp and Bentley Seeds, a NY-based seed supplier since 1975. Launched in accompaniment to Trapper's album "May Day," which is inspired by agricultural tradition and renewal, the seeds spread the message of Trapper's music and encourage new people to try gardening. A QR code on the back of the packet links to Trapper's music for a multimedia experience.
Bright and cheerful with large, soft yellow blooms, Folksinger Sunflowers bring bold color to summer gardens. Light yellow petals with rich brown centers make them stand out in borders and cutting gardens, while their tall 5–7½ foot stems create dramatic vertical interest. A low-maintenance favorite, they attract honey bees, bumble bees, and other pollinators — and even produce edible seeds, making them a fun and rewarding choice for gardeners of all ages.
